Because of the nature of drilling and the exposure to extreme environmental conditions the Kelly line is one of the most used components of a drill rig system.

Replacing a Kelly line wire rope is one of the biggest causes of equipment downtime on a drilling rig system. The wire rope used to lift and lower the Kelly bar, is used to drill large diameter, deep foundation holes that are filled with concrete in preparation of large-scale construction projects.

HiPac compacted, flexible rope with a very high breaking load, perfectly suited for multi layer spooling. Due to the complex LongLife core design the rope is very flexible and durable over competitive products with low number of inner strands.

Poweract 25/25DP offers a high-performance rotation resistant steel wire rope designed for drilling applications.

 

Due to its PLASTICATED core that acts as a shock absorber and as a lubricant for the inner rope Poweract 25/25DP  features excellent spooling characteristics and high dimensional stability under lateral pressure even when used in multi-layer spooling operations.
